Less is More

This isn't earth shattering and this isn't new - it's just saying the same good ole things that we want to do here at Analytic Media - using another set of words.

So we give it the nod. Presentation documents and writing for non-writers.

I'm not really sure he ends up on the point he started out on - but the whole foundation of communicating clearly is an ability to digest something and make it simple... that the path he takes is really illustrative.

This presentation on Indentity 2.0 is riviting. Certainly the content, but i'm speaking primarily of the presentation technique. Analytic Media has creates presentations that are this well integrated while using a recorded briefing track, but i've never seen this sort of thing pulled off in real time. How many times did he tap the space bar exactly?!

The briefing may in fact be a little too demanding at times, sort of an ADD / MTV visual meets the corporate world -- but there is certainly a good use of substituting graphics when words are less efficient. The level of simplicity / lack of clutter on each slide is also paradigm breaking. The use of black on white, vs. white on black is excellent as well. lots and lots of less is more.

A challenge to our assumptions.
